Welcome to the English space just for you! I'm excited to get talking to people, helping them with their goals and improving together.
I made this space so that we can:
- Share tips and advice on getting the best grade in English Language and Literature.
- Have a safe space to vent to people who are in a similar boat to us.
- Share useful documents like essays and fact sheets.
As a member of this community, you get direct access to chat to me about your problems.
I am also making all my Language Paper 1 practice papers free to any student who joins to give you a little extra practice.
Please, feel free to post as many topics as you'd like. I'll be here on a regular basis to read through and comment. I'd also really appreciate it if you did the same to your fellow users. Make everyone feel at home!

Hi all!
As you might know, I'm going to be running workshops to help Year 11 students through their GCSEs for the upcoming weeks! These are going to be quite cheap for people who join the community soon, and will help you to be sure you know what you're talking about.
I'm definitely planning to do some workshops to help people understand Macbeth, but there are plenty of other texts that might be helpful for people, too!
Let me know if there's any in particular that you'd like me to cover using the poll below!

So some of my one-to-one tutoring students have let me know that their schools have missed out a lot of content for English and History for the Year 11s, and they're quite worried about it!
Some have also said that they don't understand Macbeth or their other Shakespeare texts very well because the schools didn't cover it in great detail and they weren't told to get any particular, good copy of the text.
If that's happened to you, don't stress too much! I'm going to be creating more regular content here on the GCSE English space and I'll also be running some workshops where we'll annotate texts together and I'll explain what they mean and what you can say about them.
