I just want to stay a big congratulations to all the A-level English Literature students who sat their Paper 2 today!
You're probably wondering what you should do with your community membership next?
Well, you have a few options! Let me list them for you
Leaving the spaces that are no longer relevant to you
The easiest option is to leave any of the spaces that no longer serve you! You can do thay really simply:
- Open the space you'd like to leave
- Click the three dots in the top right hand corner
- Press 'Leave Space'
This is great for the people who would like to stick around and help me to grow the community in the future. I'm going to be populating the University spaces like Independent Living with loads of useful tips on how to save money, do well in your degree, etc! So please feel free to join!
Stick around to help the future cohorts
The community is very new, and I didn't get to do everything I wanted to. I definitely bit off more than I could chew, planning loads of projects for the community that took a lot longer than I wanted them to. However, I am really keen to keep it growing!
I want you all to grow with me. I'm going to be looking for ways for my students to still be able to use this community in the future to help them grow their own careers and lives
For example, I'm going to be making an affiliate programme very soon – where you can 10% on all purchases you recommend to me! So if you recommend someone and they book a tutoring session, you make £5.50 automatically!
This one is very much in the works, and I hope to launch before September. It's just taking longer than predicted because there are a lot of legal issues with making people under 18 affiliates, so I need to legally protect myself. For now, I might just make ex-students who have already finished their studies affiliates to keep it simple and to mean I can roll out the affiliate programme sooner.

And I am so keen to eventually bring old students into the business as moderators! The perfect model for me would be if the community grew to, say, 1000 students and people at uni could be hired by me to manage the spaces and post interesting content! I also want to start getting people to post their own posts on the blog!
That's going to take some time, but the more people we have here making it active, the quicker I'll get there!
