In the US (idk if they do it anywhere else) but you do these college essays that are one of the defining factors that get you into college. And through an app called the Common App, you can submit your essays to colleges there. It’s usually a personal essay and there are subjects and stuff but you can also usually choose the subject. It’s a word limit of 650 words. I’m trying to write it rn and I’m struggling lol.
I’m writing about how I went to different and very unique schools growing up and how that influenced my wanting to be a teacher. But it’s so hard with the word limit! I’m also trying to write about my learning difficulties and how despite how hard school seemed for me, I did end up getting good grades. It’s all just a mesh of things that I want to talk about, but I’m not sure how to do it concisely and with the word limit.Any thoughts? Is anyone else struggling with this? What do you guys think about these essays?
